Professional Experience

Throughout his profession, Mr. Lutynski has had domestic assignments as well as those in various countries across Europe, Asia, Brazil, Panama, and Venezuela. His areas of expertise include not only insurance investigations but also technical troubleshooting assessments applicable to a range of industrial sectors.

Immediately after graduating from college with a degree in electrical engineering, Mr. Lutynski gained domestic and international experience in the steel industry, specializing in the design, installation, and troubleshooting of electronic control systems for cold rolling mills. This experience honed his troubleshooting abilities, which would prove invaluable in his future endeavors.

Midway through his career, Mike spent 17 years in Hong Kong, where he first served as the Managing Director of Hong Kong Investigations and later Forensic Services Group. His role involved collaborating closely with insurers, adjusters, forensic accounting firms, and attorneys to investigate cases involving overstated or fraudulent claims arising from shipping mishaps, fire damage, water damage, and equipment failures resulting from abnormal and unexpected incidents.

Mr. Lutynski’s international expertise in electronic product evaluation has enabled him to successfully defend against product liability and patent infringement actions for insurance companies and law firms in the United States, the Philippines, and the People’s Republic of China.

Furthermore, he played a key role in a high-profile case by assisting Hong Kong authorities in collecting forensic evidence from computer hard drives, leading to the arrest of gang members involved in a sophisticated operation fencing stolen designer watches between China and Macau.

He had a significant impact as a member of international disaster teams processing insurance claims for water-damaged high-tech equipment following major flooding events in China, Guam, and Saipan, as well as the devastating 2010-2011 floods in Bangkok.
